USAF Museum Series: Part 6

Hhere are some of the more modern specimens as we conclude the tour of the Cold War Gallery, which I began in the last post of this series. This really might be my favorite hangar at the museum - the lighting is wonderful and the way everything is arranged sets the mood perfectly.

This B-2 was a test fixture; no engines were ever installed

The second F-117A ever built is on display at the museum

If you like angles, you must like the Nighthawk!

A pristine MiG-29A, quite the symbol of 80s Soviet power

The F-15 Eagle is still one of our key air superiority fighters

These sections of the Berlin Wall really add to the Cold War setting

I'll finish up this collection of photos with a visit to the Missile & Space Gallery in the next post.

As always, just a reminder that you can access any of the posts in this series by clicking on the USAF Museum tag in the navigation bar to the right or at the bottom of the posts.
